co-founder of Canopy Construction Associates, is a lecturer/activist in tropical forest natural history and preservation when he is not engaged in in construction projects or working as an arborist. He lives with his wife, Connie, and two sons in Amherst, MA.
has forged his love of heights, ropes, rocks and trees into a fine tuned set of skills. He works as designer, foreman, rigger, builder and trainer to create access systems. Using bridges, towers, cables and ropes he invites and supports us into the environments where he is most at home. He has been an Outward Bound instructor, homebuilder, boulder garden landscaper, stonemason, arborist and ropes course/canopy access builder. Recently he has discovered the world of extreme event and TV set design and creation. He makes his home in the Blue Ridge Mts of NC in an owner built house and gardens where he and his wife Laurie have raised two children, Jesse and Austin.
 has been working and playing in trees since 1975. He specializes in the construction of unique and custom adventure challenge activities in trees including tree houses, climbing walls, challenge courses, and adventure playgrounds. He and his wife, Janice, live in the foothills of the Blue Ridge mountains in Morganton, NC. |
